Shanghai-based Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) has launched an intelligent tablet POS device integrated with EMVCo payment functionality. The tablet combines POS ordering and sales functions with secure EMVCo-certified payments.

Consumers can securely enter their PIN codes via the touchscreen, with transactions authenticated by international payment organisations. Integrating the Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS6125 processor, the tablet is designed to streamline payment processes and enhance retailer mobility.

Retailers can deploy it across store sections, pick-up service centres, and even outdoor pop-up sales locations. Real-time data analytics help optimise sales management and support precision marketing strategies.

The device has successfully obtained certifications from major international payment organisations, including PCI PTS, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, with VISA certification currently under application.
