Baltics DIY retail chain Senukai will implement Vusion’s AI technology across all its stores.

French firm Vusion has been selected by Senukai to roll out its technology across all its 94 stores to simplify inventory management and improve restocking, enhance pricing and promotions management, while offering shoppers a better experience.

“The upcoming deployment of Vusion’s technology is an important part of our strategic innovation development plan,” said Jovita Daškevičienė, executive director at Senukai. “By investing in this, we aim to set a new standard for retail in the Baltics and ensure the best possible shopping experience for our customers.”

The Vusion platform empowers Senukai to manage pricing and promotional updates centrally across its entire store network, eliminating manual tasks and enabling faster, more accurate execution. This automation lets store teams focus on customer care and meaningful interactions, while ensuring smoother daily operations and greater overall efficiency.

Additionally, electronic shelf labels (ESLs) display inventory data directly on the shelf and can flash to signal replenishment needs, streamlining restocking workflows and improving product availability. By leveraging Vusion’s ESL portfolio, stores can deliver timely and relevant information with precision, enhancing the overall customer experience.

Furthermore, Senukai has initiated a pilot trial of Vusion’s AI and computer vision technology in the electronics and detergent product areas to enhance on-shelf availability.

“We are pleased to support Senukai in accelerating their digital transformation and improving efficiency across their store network,” said Sébastien Fourcy from Vusion. “This partnership strengthens Vusion’s presence in the Nordics, Baltics and across Europe, and aligns with our vertical diversification strategy towards 2027. It also addresses the growing demand for DIY in the region, as we help physical stores become smarter, more connected and better equipped to deliver long-term value.”

The deployment will begin with the full digitalisation of the small and large household appliances and IT equipment departments across all Senukai stores, following a six-month rollout plan. This will be followed by a broader implementation phase extending through 2026 and 2027.

Additionally, Vusion’s value-added partner Hansab (www.hansab.com) will play a role in this rollout, bringing local expertise and technical support to ensure a seamless implementation. Hansab was also actively involved in the selling and winning process.
