Singapore-based MicroTouch has launched two touchscreens for the shops and fast-food outlets.

With the introduction of the ruggedised M1-101RT-A1 mobile tablet Android touch computer and bright outdoor open-frame touchscreen series, MicroTouch now offers end-to-end touchscreens spanning every customer touchpoint, from indoor point-of-sale terminals and self-ordering kiosks to outdoor digital menu boards and drive-through systems.

The M1-101RT-A1 mobile tablet combines commercial-grade durability with a MediaTek Genio 700 processor, 8Gbyte of RAM and an integrated Zebra barcode scanner, as well as NFC payment support. Its 25.6cm display, IP67 waterproof housing and eight-hour battery life make it suitable for retail floor service, mobile PoS and inventory tracking in demanding environments. Optional accessories include multi-device charging cradle, and rotating hand straps provide flexible deployment options for diverse retail environments.

The outdoor open-frame series delivers crystal-clear visibility with 1500nit brightness across 25.6cm (M1-101OD-A1), 54.6cm (M1-215OD-A1) and 68.6cm (M1-27OD-A1) variants. Enhanced with UV protection, optical bonding and IP66 weatherproof rating, these displays ensure performance for outdoor kiosks, drive-through operations and digital signage.

“MicroTouch now provides a complete ecosystem of touchscreens that work seamlessly together,” said Daniel Hu, managing director in Apac for MicroTouch. “Our unified product portfolio ensures consistent performance, simplified procurement and integrated support across all customer touchpoints, whether indoor or outdoor, mobile or fixed-installation.”

Both product lines are immediately available worldwide through MicroTouch’s authorised partner network, with warranty coverage and technical support.
