Atlanta-based Micromart believes its autonomous micro market technology can transform convenience retail and enhance the shopping experience.
Its fully automated, round-the-clock vending technology eliminates the need for checkout queues with a self-serve, secured micro market that automates retail operations and reduces theft.
Micro markets locations grew 41% in 2023 and growth is projected to continue as technology is embraced by traditional vending and micro market operators. To meet this demand, Micromart developed unattended machines that are secured until a valid payment method is used and leverage AI-powered order processing for quick and secure transactions. Retailers can customise their space with any combination of the Micromart pantry, fridge and freezer, and even a heating tower for warming food.
AI-powered order processing and secure payment systems ensure seamless shopping and prevent theft. Dynamic pricing is enabled through electronic price tags and digital video content informs shoppers.
The Micromart platform lets operators remotely oversee their business, reducing operational costs and streamlining inventory management.
“We are excited to introduce Micromart,” said Yang Yu, CEO of Micromart. “After selling over a quarter million items via our KitchenMate [www.kitchenmate.com] food service division in Toronto, we’re thrilled to white-label this proven technology for vending, micro market and foodservice operators across the USA and Canada. Our autonomous micro markets help operators reduce labour costs, minimise theft and optimise revenue, making them ideal for today’s economic environment.”
Micromart (micromart.com) is an innovator in the convenience retail industry, specialising in autonomous micro markets for food service.
