Frame Weave automatically updates digital signage

US firm Frame Weave has launched an automated video content platform for the digital signage used by retailers and fast-food outlets.
It maintains current, engaging video content across screen networks without the time and expense of manual production.
Frame Weave connects directly to existing business systems, including point-of-sale platforms, inventory management software and spreadsheets to generate branded video content automatically. When source data changes, the platform renders updated videos and distributes them through API or MRSS feeds to digital signage content management systems to cache the content, preventing possible offline issues and eliminating manual intervention.
A change in the data causes an updated video to be automatically generated, which then is automatically updated in the CMS and automatically updated on the digital signage displays wherever they may be deployed.
“Digital signage has matured significantly over the past decade, but content creation remains largely manual,” said Kevin Goldsmith, CEO of Frame Weave. “Retailers know that video content drives engagement and sales, but producing it at scale has been prohibitively expensive and time-consuming. We built Frame Weave to solve this specific problem, turning business data into professional video content automatically, so screens stay current without constant human oversight.”
With integration support for many PoS systems including Oracle Simphony, Clover, CloverSport, Deliverext, MyVenue, Revel, Silverware, Square, VenueNext, Googlesheets and JSon, the platform’s template-based system allows users to customise fonts, colours and layouts to match brand standards, while the automation engine handles video rendering and distribution.
Users can also create their own branded templates and work with the Frame Weave team to format for their specific needs. Integration with digital signage platforms – including Autora DSM, Ubiquity Software and 42 Digital Signage – enables seamless deployment across existing screen networks.
Traditional content creation requires dedicated creative staff and operates on a project basis with unpredictable costs. Frame Weave’s automation model enables integrators to offer content as a predictable monthly retainer without expanding headcount.
“I increased my monthly retainer, decreased my workload, reduced human error and improved the digital signage content experience with Frame Weave,” said a representative from Denver-based Onward Content (onwardcontent.com), a digital signage integrator using the platform. The company reports being able to monetise content services that previously represented margin pressure rather than revenue opportunity.
The platform targets three primary markets: grocery and retail environments requiring frequent promotional updates; fast-food outlets managing menu boards and daypart transitions; and enterprise deployments where content accuracy and consistency are critical.
Frame Weave (frameweave.com) was founded by a team with over 25 years of combined experience in digital signage deployment and content management across retail, fast-food outlets, sports and entertainment, transportation and government sectors. The company has supported more than 500 digital signage deployments prior to launching the Frame Weave platform.
The service is available immediately with monthly subscription pricing. A free trial and demonstration video are available at frameweave.com/introduction-demo/.
