The latest wearable from Huawei turns the wrist into a smart, secure, cashback-earning wallet for people that like to leave their phone in their bag.

The Huawei Watch Fit 5 Series was launched this month at the South Korean firm’s Now Is Your Spark global product launch in Bangkok, Thailand.

Combined with Curve Pay, which enables a phone-free payment experience at any contactless terminal, the watch becomes a companion for a young and active generation that wants to travel light, stay connected and leave the phone behind.

The watch supports Curve Pay NFC contactless payments – tap to pay at any compatible terminal with a single gesture from the watch. Curve consolidates multiple bank cards into one smart account, letting users choose their preferred payment card anytime in the mobile app.

Part of Huawei’s commitment to wearable-first payments without compromising on security or convenience, its partnership with fintech firm Curve (www.curve.com) reflects a broader industry shift, with digital and contactless payments now becoming embedded in everyday life. By continuing to expand payment capabilities across its wearable portfolio and rapidly integrating Curve Pay into the watch, Huawei says it is reinforcing its commitment to delivering seamless, secure and convenient phone-free payment experiences.

The watch (consumer.huawei.com/uk/wearables/watch-fit5/) includes secure off-wrist detection: if the watch is removed from the wearer’s wrist, a passcode is automatically triggered before payments or sensitive features can be accessed.

This is Huawei’s lightest and most stylish Fit-series wearable, built for sports, the outdoors, and everyday movement. It features a Mini-Workout mode, wrist-based micro-movement stretching, and cycling auto-detection with real-time virtual power and cadence.
