A2Z Cust2Mate has received follow-on orders for more than 5000 smart shopping carts from two retail chains in Israel.

Supermarket chain Sapir Group has ordered 4000 more Cust2Mate smart shopping trolleys, expanding its total commitment to 7000 carts. The follow-on order brings the total value of Sapir’s orders to approximately $84m over the life of the agreements.

And HaStock, a home goods retail chain, has ordered an additional 1050 smart carts. The follow-on order was received as deliveries of the trolleys under the original purchase order have already commenced. This expands HaStock’s total commitment to 3050 smart carts.

Cust2Mate transforms everyday shopping carts into AI-powered, connected commerce platforms that help retailers and brands grow revenue through targeted retail media and real-time shopper engagement at the moment purchase decisions are made. It delivers actionable, real-time data that provide full visibility into in-store shopper behaviour and decision-making.

Super Sapir (www.supersapir.co.il) is a privately held nationwide supermarket group in Israel, founded in 1996 by brothers Avinoam and Oren Sapir, who serve as co-CEOs and owners. The company operates more than 70 stores under the Super Sapir and Neto Discount banners.

“Sapir Group’s decision to expand its commitment to Cust2Mate is particularly significant because it demonstrates how our relationships can grow alongside our retail partners,” said Gadi Graus, CEO of Israeli firm A2Z Cust2Mate (cust2mate.com). “Sapir Group has expanded rapidly, and this additional order reflects both that growth and its continued confidence in our smart cart platform. For A2Z Cust2Mate, the expansion increases the scale of an existing deployment and reinforces our recurring-revenue model, while creating a larger installed base through which we can generate additional retail media and digital-services revenue.”

HaStock (www.ha-stock.com) is a fast-growing Israeli home goods retail chain with more than 50 stores nationwide and continued expansion. The additional order is on the same terms as HaStock’s original five-year agreement and is valued at an additional $11m over the life of the agreement. The original agreement includes a comprehensive collaboration across data, retail media and digital services to be managed by A2Z Cust2Mate, with the companies sharing in the resulting revenue.

“HaStock’s decision to expand its commitment with an additional 1050 smart carts is a strong validation of our partnership and the value of the Cust2Mate platform,” said Graus.
