Belgian IoT tracking firm Sensolus has made its tracking hardware, asset-tracking platform and mobile app available in the USA and, for the first time, Canada and Mexico.
Sensolus products help users gain visibility and control into supply chain and logistics flows so they can manage assets in the field or in transit, optimise inventory, and reduce the hidden costs in business: time wasted looking for lost items and expensive ad hoc interventions.
Alerts can be set up to detect anomalies such as wrong delivery location or excess dwell times.
Companies involved in industrial manufacturing, logistics and environmental industries can benefit from smart trackers and gateways on their digitalisation journeys, to manage and optimise use of reusable packaging such as pallets, totes or roll cages, as well as trailers and containers.
Sensolus software is known for being user-friendly and configurable, with an API available for seamless integration into ERP systems. The latest Track 1105 device is durable with IP69k and IP68 ratings, embedded condition sensors, and battery life of up to seven years. The use of multiple low-power networks, such as NB-IoT and LTE-M, provides greater redundancy.
“The Track 1105 builds off more than ten years of R&D and is a key enabler to digitise supply chains,” said Sensolus general manager Steve Logue. “We look forward to partnering with leading companies in the USA and now Canada and Mexico, including supporting cross-border use cases.”
Headquartered in Ghent, Belgium, with a US base in Atlanta, Georgia, Sensolus (www.sensolus.com) specialises in industrial grade tracking for non-powered assets such as reusable packaging, trailers and containers. It partners with more than 500 companies globally including Airbus, DHL and AB InBev, with expertise in industrial manufacturing, reusable packaging, logistics and environmental industries.
