German electric cargo bike specialist Luxmea is to use autonomous driving technology from Chinese firm Neolix to upgrade its fleet.

The collaboration will focus on urban delivery in Europe, leveraging AI to build an efficient, intelligent and sustainable ecosystem for urban logistics.

As a benchmark enterprise in robovan R&D, manufacturing and services, Neolix’s core products have obtained certification from TÜV Rheinland and comply with more than 20 ECE and EU regulations, enabling flexible adaptation to diverse urban delivery needs. To date, Neolix’s autonomous vehicles have been deployed in 15 countries and regions worldwide, with cumulative delivery and deployment volume exceeding 15,000 units.

A brand under Baodao Vehicle Industry, Luxmea specialises in electric cargo bikes and urban smart mobility, having established itself as a brand in Europe’s sustainable urban transportation sector. Its electric cargo bikes are for last-kilometre deliveries from hubs to customers. With a supply chain system covering China and Europe, Luxmea has more than 550,000 electric bikes developed by the company in use across Europe, serving numerous major logistics clients.

Under the cooperation agreement, both parties will focus on urban logistics and last-kilometre delivery needs. Neolix will leverage its L4 autonomous driving and core AI technologies to upgrade Luxmea’s business, jointly building an urban logistics ecosystem tailored for the European market.

Neolix’s advantages in AI technology and autonomous vehicle products will pair with Luxmea’s local market supply chain resources.

“Europe is a strategic hub for global smart logistics, and this partnership with Luxmea is a crucial step in deepening our European layout,” said Will Zhao, executive president of Neolix (www.neolix.ai). “Through the in-depth empowerment of AI technology and autonomous vehicle products, we will work with Luxmea to address last-mile delivery challenges and bring more efficient and convenient logistics experiences to European consumers.”

Wenjun Lin, general manager of Luxmea (www.luxmea.com), added: “Neolix’s technical strength and large-scale operational experience perfectly complement our local supply chain resources and technical integration capabilities. Luxmea’s technological accumulation in European micromobility drive control and ecosystem, combined with Neolix’s AI intelligent technology, will create synergistic leaps forward. We look forward to promoting the innovative upgrading of last-mile delivery models through our collaborative efforts and supporting the EU in achieving its sustainable logistics development goals.”

At last week’s CES in Las Vegas, Neolix demonstrating how its full robovan lineup enables large-scale, end-to-end urban logistics, Neolix is positioning autonomous fleets as a cornerstone of future urban infrastructure.

“Autonomous logistics has reached a critical tipping point, transitioning from experimental pilots to true commercial scale,” said YU Enyuan, CEO of Neolix. “2025 was a milestone year where we achieved mass deployment, refined our mapless technology and expanded our global footprint. At CES 2026, we presented the global market with our fully integrated autonomy in action, showcasing a new generation of urban infrastructure that is always-on, highly efficient and ready for global growth.”
