Hubbell unveils grid-edge software at DTech

At last week’s DTech show in California, Hubbell introduced advancements in grid automation and intelligent infrastructure.

The Connecticut-based company highlighted its long-established partnerships with utilities and its experience developing technology shaped by real-world operational needs.

The company unveiled Aclara360 (www.hubbell.com/hubbell/en/products/aclara360-grid-edge-software/p/18821087) dynamic software that unlocks the potential of grid edge device data. The modular system from Hubbell’s Aclara brand equips utilities to use grid analytics to make quicker, smarter network decisions

Hubbell highlighted the results of an extensive pilot programme conducted with 36 utilities across North America. The programme validated the advantages of the LineDefender recloser in enabling utility personnel to do their jobs simply and safely. Attendees at DTech explored products from Systems Control, Beckwith, RFL and other Hubbell brands, including intelligent electronic devices, protection and control equipment, panels, enclosures, and wildlife mitigation technologies engineered for dependable substation operation.
