Vantiq and SmartGate are partnering to deploy real-time AI orchestration across South Korea’s industrial and urban sectors. The collaboration focuses on automating decision-making processes for smart cities, healthcare, and logistics.
The partnership integrates Vantiq’s event-driven architecture with SmartGate’s local infrastructure expertise. The platform is designed to process data from IoT sensors and edge computing devices to trigger automated responses to urban or industrial events as they occur.
The integrated platform includes: real-time orchestration of Generative AI models and autonomous agents; integration of legacy systems with modern IoT and edge data streams; and event-driven detection and automated business workflow coordination. The platform is underpinned by a scalable architecture designed for high-reliability environments.
Kevin Lee, head of Vantiq’s Korean office, said the collaboration is intended to accelerate the adoption of intelligent AI models that combine real-time data with generative capabilities. The company has previously deployed similar systems for disaster response and transportation infrastructure in the United States and Japan.
SmartGate, a South Korean IT solution provider, will lead the development of industry-specific applications using the Vantiq framework. The companies stated that the initiative aims to provide a unified operating environment for managing complex urban systems and infrastructure security.
