Vaidio has updated its vision AI software to provide cities and organisations with faster access to AI-driven insights from visual data. The new release, Vaidio 9.1, includes features specifically designed to integrate with smart city applications.

Version 9.1 includes enhanced natural language video search powered by next-generation language models. This allows users to ask complex questions in plain English, employing free-text queries. It can find properties, objects, or events, including those not included in the standard AI model.

It also includes real-time camera configuration insights with real-time capacity estimation and preview capabilities. These auto-configuration enhancements allow optimised deployments without exceeding resource limits. It reduces setup complexity, while providing improved performance and usability.

Another feature is cross-camera car tracking. Cars can be tracked as they move between cameras without losing continuity. This feature has been built specifically for smart cities and transit systems, and boosts situational awareness public safety operations.

“Our 9.1 release positions Vaidio at the forefront of enterprise Visual Transformation,” said Marshall Tyler, CEO of Vaidio. “By enhancing our Vision AI capabilities, intuitive natural-language interactions, and operational integrations, we continue to deliver rapid time-to-value for our customers, aligning perfectly with their strategic AI transformation goals.”
