The Vacaville Police Department in California has integrated the Genasys Evertel platform with its public safety data and analytics systems. The integration is designed to provide a unified operational environment for real-time crime analysis and incident response by combining live video data with encrypted communications.

The system allows Real-Time Crime Centres (RTCC) and fusion centres to distribute intelligence to officers in the field. By automating the delivery of analysis to specific personnel and devices, the department aims to reduce delays in decision-making during active incidents. The platform is compliant with legal requirements for secure data sharing across different agencies.

The Evertel platform is part of a broader suite of protective communications tools used by public safety agencies in over 100 countries. In Vacaville, the tool is expected to assist with intelligence sharing across the region and the state of California.
