The Saudi Arabian government has designated Naver’s digital twin software as the standard platform for local municipal planning. The Digital Government Authority issued the approval to utilise the cloud-based system across local governments.

Local governments across Saudi Arabia have been instructed to use the Naver digital twin platform for administrative functions, preventing duplicated software investments across municipalities.

Naver completed digital mapping of Mecca, Medina, and Jeddah by 2025. “This national standard adoption is significant not only as a validation of Naver’s technological capabilities, but also of the real-world results and trust we have built,” said Chae Sun-ju, Naver’s head of strategic business.
