The city of Santa Monica has installed Hayden AI’s automated enforcement technology on seven parking enforcement vehicles. This marks the company’s first deployment on such vehicles.

The city already employs Hayden AI mounted on public transit buses to monitor and enforce parking violations in designated areas, including bike lanes. The city of Santa Monica will now be able to enforce parking violations in all designated areas, not just along bus routes.

The company’s bus-mounted enforcement system is installed on over 2,100 public transit buses globally.

Hayden AI’s technology is designed to keep dedicated transit zones and bike lanes clear of illegally parked vehicles, improving safety for road users.

The use of automated enforcement technology has been proven to improve safety and reduce collisions along routes where it is deployed. In cities such as New York City, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia, similar systems have increased transit bus speeds and reduced collisions.
