Personal safety firm SABRE has launched a connected pepper spray device that integrates GPS tracking and automated emergency alerts. The product is designed to link physical self-defence tools with digital notification systems for use in urban settings.

The device connects to a mobile application that automatically sends the user’s live location to preselected contacts when the spray is deployed or a panic button is pressed. The system is intended for use in scenarios such as commuting, rideshare travel, and navigating university campuses.

The hardware includes a professional-grade spray with a 12-to-14-foot range and a 10-second deployment capacity. It features a flip-top safety mechanism and a detachable alert button, powered by a long-lasting battery to ensure reliability in transit.
