Florida Property developer Green has submitted plans to construct an integrated smart city district in Orlando’s Parramore neighbourhood, anchored by dedicated charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and electric aircraft.

The proposed Green District Smart City will feature two primary parking structures functioning as multi-modal transit and electric vehicle charging hubs. A third facility will operate as a vertiport to support Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) operations, integrating electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft into the city’s transport grid.

The charging infrastructure deployment is being managed in partnership with eVTOL manufacturer Eve Air Mobility and EV charging infrastructure provider i-charging USA. Construction on the site, which combines health, wellness, and transit facilities, is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2027.

Beyond the transport infrastructure, the district’s footprint will encompass workforce housing, four hotels, retail spaces, and a grocery store. The development is designed to connect the local neighbourhood to broader downtown Orlando via electric transport systems.
