North Miami Police Department has migrated its dispatch and records management workflows to a cloud-based software platform provided by Mark43. The software connects the department’s 125 sworn officers across a 10-square-mile jurisdiction.

The system includes Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Records Management System (RMS) modules hosted on the AWS GovCloud. The transition is designed to maintain operational stability and software access during power outages or severe weather events that could damage on-premises servers.

The software update automates administrative reporting workflows and provides digital dashboards for police command staff. “As the City of North Miami has continued to grow and evolve over the years, so have the operational and technology needs of our Police Department,” said Police Chief Cherise G. Gause.
