Iveda has launched a line of gas-powered unmanned helicopters to expand aerial surveillance and transport capabilities for municipal and public safety networks. The new helicopters provide an industrial-grade alternative to standard battery-powered quadcopters with far greater range and loiter time.

The rotary-wing aircraft, designated IvedaAir, employs a GX10-F100 gas-powered platform capable of more than 150 minutes of continuous flight. The helicopter is designed to provide stability in high winds, coastal environments, and remote terrain. According to Iveda, it significantly outperforms electric drones in endurance and payload capacity.

The unmanned helicopter is engineered to support municipal operations including public safety overwatch, critical infrastructure inspection, and disaster response supply delivery. The systems integrate securely into municipal networks via encrypted 4G, 5G, and LTE transmissions, meeting federal NDAA and TAA compliance standards.

The drone’s video feeds interface with the company’s software analytics to automate object tracking and anomaly detection. The drones are available for federal procurement through a partnership with infrastructure provider GlobalMed.
