GDU, a professional-grade drone manufacturer based in Wuhan’s Optics Valley, has introduced the UAV-P300, a drone equipped with AI-driven optical and electronic fog penetration capabilities. The UAV-P300 is designed for use in various industries, including public safety, smart city operations, aerial surveying, and cultural tourism.
The drone’s payload options, AI-enhanced navigation, and compatibility with GDU’s auto-docking stations enable it to operate in complex field environments. According to the company, the UAV-P300 can provide 50% clearer visibility in rain or fog, high-performance night capture, and long-range autonomous operation.
The drone features a 50MP wide-angle sensor, starlight night-vision system, and IP55 ingress protection rating against dust and water. It also includes a thermal module that delivers clean, high-contrast thermal imagery enhanced by AI for better identification and measurement.
GDU’s R&D Director, Jie Leng, stated that the UAV-P300 is designed to provide operators with clearer vision, safer navigation, and reliable performance in challenging environments.
The UAV-P300 will be available for purchase starting in late January 2026.
GDU has deployed its solutions across more than 300 cities worldwide, supporting various industrial applications, including smart city management, public safety, power line inspections, emergency response, environmental monitoring, cultural tourism, and others.
