FedRAMP has approved Celonis’s public sector processes digital twin. It means that US federal agencies can now deploy Celonic digital twins to model their operational processes. The digital twin is part of Celonis Process Intelligence system, which is used by US local, state and federal agencies across the country.
The Federal Risk and Authorisation Management Program (FedRAMP) is a US government-wide programme that provides a standardised approach to assessing, authorising and monitoring the security of cloud services used by US public service bodies. It is administered by the General Services Administration (GSA), and its Joint Authorisation Board includes the CIOs of the Department of Defence and the Department of Homeland Security.
Celonis partnered with Knox to achieve authorisation. Knox runs the largest FedRAMP authorised cloud platform. It provides FedRAMP-authorised environments across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, and provides authorisation across more than 15 federal agencies.
The Celonis Platform enables agencies to create a living digital twin of their operations. The digital twin, called the Process Intelligence Graph, gives agencies a common language, known as Process Intelligence, for understanding and improving how they run. With Process Intelligence, public sector and government agencies can continuously improve operations. It aims to not just fix problems but prevent them altogether.
“Public sector leaders are under tremendous pressure to do more with less, while citizen expectations continue to rise,” said Aubrey Vaughan, Vice President of Strategy for Public Sector at Celonis. “Celonis Process Intelligence is trusted by local, state, and federal agencies across the US to deliver better public services. Achieving FedRAMP authorisation means more agencies have access to our software that’s already unlocked billions in value across the public sector. We look forward to working with our partner Knox to expand our work with the U.S. government.”
“Our government needs more data-driven insights and information analysis. Therefore, it’s an absolute honour to enable a company like Celonis to provide the intelligent solutions that will help agencies provide better services and unlock efficiency while retaining control over their data,” said Irina Denisenko, CEO, Knox.
