Canadian AI firm Agereh Technologies has launched a smart door sensor to provide real-time operational intelligence of transport hubs. The sensor provides real-time data on door activity and movement events, enabling operators to understand passenger flows and operational status without heavy infrastructure requirements.

The sensor is battery-powered and operates through wireless, providing real-time awareness of door and access activity.

Agereh’s technology is aimed at large, high-traffic indoor and outdoor transportation environments such as metro stations, central rail stations, or bus stations, where traditional monitoring systems can fall short.

The new sensor is designed to complement Agereh’s recently launched HeadCounter and MapNTrack solutions.
