XBE has announced the launch of Agent XBE, an artificial intelligence system designed to manage scheduling, dispatch, and logistics for the heavy materials and construction industries. The new system operates on top of XBE’s existing software.
The platform integrates operational data to automate tasks such as truck redispatching, record updates, and bid forecasting. According to the company, the system can generate a 120-truck dispatch plan, including driver assignments, in less than five minutes—a process that typically requires several hours of manual coordination.
Operational capabilities of Agent XBE include: automated truck redispatching and schedule coordination; cross-referencing project plans against actual performance to identify underutilised assets; and automated production of job recaps and coaching notes. Agent XBE also provides unified management of pricing, invoicing, compliance, and telematics.
Sean Devine, founder and CEO of XBE, said the system is designed to function as an autonomous member of a contractor’s workforce rather than a traditional analytics dashboard. The system is built to learn and adapt to specific operational rhythms without requiring manual workflow programming.
The company, headquartered in Kansas City, provides logistics and financial management platforms to contractors and material producers across North America.
