Chinese consumer electronics company Nanoleaf has introduced a smart monitor stand that is compatible with Matter for seamless integration across major smart home ecosystems.

The Smart LED Monitor Stand is engineered to combine ergonomic support and sleek design with intelligent lighting. Built for professionals, gamers and creatives, the Matter-compatible stand is said to elevate the desk space by replacing multiple accessories such as a monitor riser, task lamp and RGB light strip.

The stand integrates two lighting channels into a single, space-saving design to deliver crisp task lighting alongside customisable ambient backlighting. For daily focus, the front light bar outputs 550 lumens with a tuneable 1700K to 6500K colour temperature range, providing eye-friendly, true-to-life illumination for video calls and extended screen sessions.

For gaming, streaming or unwinding, the rear ambient light uses 102 individually addressable RGB zones with a 160-degree wall-washing angle to cast rich, gradient-filled colour. With independent control for both channels, users can instantly transition their desk setup between a high-productivity workspace and an immersive entertainment zone.

The stand is constructed with 20mm solid plywood and North American walnut veneer, featuring high-precision bevelled curved edges and an 800-grit hand-sanded finish.

It replaces five standalone devices by combining monitor elevation, accessory storage, functional task lighting, ambient illumination and smart home connectivity into one fixture. A five-button capacitive touch panel puts core controls within reach, while 23 built-in UNC mounting ports allow users to attach cameras, ring lights or microphones.

Engineered to promote healthier workplace ergonomics, the stand raises displays by 10cm to bring screens directly to natural eye level. This encourages neutral neck and spine alignment, reducing tech neck forward-head posture, eye strain and back pain from long hours sitting at the desk.

Matter compatibility allows seamless integration across major smart home ecosystems, enabling app and voice control. For full colour customisation, users can connect directly through the Nanoleaf app. It syncs with other Nanoleaf lighting products such as Lines, Shapes and Elements using 4D Scene Sync+.
