Johnson Controls has announced its latest fire and life safety networking and workstations, helping operators increase visibility across building systems, accelerate emergency response and support safe, resilient operations in mission-critical environments.

Built to help operators act faster and with confidence, the platforms bring enterprise-scale monitoring, cyber-security-focused architecture and simplified operations into a unified command centre.

As facilities become larger and more interconnected, organisations need a centralised view of fire and life safety systems to support faster decision-making and more effective emergency response. The two fire safety workstations – Simplex Incident Manager and Autocall Fire Site Administrator – are built to scale to demanding environments, adapt to local regulations and integrate data from multiple manufacturers’ control units. They are suitable for commercial facilities, data centres, campuses, hospitals, sports arenas and other high-traffic buildings and venues.

The offerings can monitor and control up to 250,000 devices and can connect 687 fire alarm control units, said to be 2.5 times more than other industry alternatives.

Each workstation can connect up to 60 remote client users simultaneously with real-time system status and event information through desktop or mobile applications. Additionally, to improve communication within facilities, building managers can send customisable action messages and notifications to occupants, first responders and connected equipment. Options for integrations with connected camera and SafeLinc Cloud provide additional visibility of systems or remote areas. Through point simulation modes, building managers can verify installation accuracy and test software without disrupting live systems.
