HVAC data firm Bluon has integrated its AI-driven technical support platform directly into ServiceTitan, a software provider for the trades. The integration allows HVAC technicians to access equipment specifications and troubleshooting data within their existing field service management workflow.
The system provides access to a database covering tens of millions of model numbers across hundreds of manufacturers. The AI component has been trained on 150,000 live technical support calls, enabling it to provide specific troubleshooting guidance for equipment ranging from residential mini-splits to industrial chillers.
Technicians using the integrated platform can identify compatible replacement parts and locate nearby distributors through a feature called PartsConnect. This is intended to reduce service delays caused by part identification errors and manual documentation searches.
“This integration with ServiceTitan allows contractors to add the intelligence and power of Bluon without the challenges surrounding adding another application for their team,” said Peter Capuciati, CEO of Bluon.
The company stated that the deterministic AI platform is designed to address labour shortages in the HVAC industry by increasing the productivity of technicians in the field and reducing the frequency of return service calls.
