Blu-Castle and Gamgee are working together to bring smart home and wireless wifi to broadband service providers. The partnership between Spanish firm Blu-Castle and Dutch company Gamgee will combine their wireless and video products, services and engagement tools.
 
Wifi has become a basic human need as the central connectivity technology within more than a billion homes. With the increasing proliferation of devices, online content and smart home services, consumers’ demands are growing. Broadband service providers, meanwhile, want to drive down costs and create revenue opportunities.
 
The partnership aims to support broadband service providers in bringing smart home and wifi to consumers and enabling revenue and cost saving opportunities.

The combination offers consumers wifi and video equipment, management of the home wifi network, parental controls, content filtering, security against online intruders, and privacy with virtual private networking, chatbot support and an in-app commerce platform.

Gamgee is a hardware-independent provider of smart home and wifi management products.
