AIIR Intelligent HVAC (AIIR) and Copeland have partnered to integrate smart thermostat technology into AI-powered heating and cooling systems. Under the agreement, all AIIR products will ship with a custom-configured version of Copeland’s Verdant VX4 thermostat.

The integration is designed to simplify installation and regulatory compliance for hospitality and multifamily residential projects. The Verdant platform is currently used in over 11,000 properties and has demonstrated HVAC energy savings of 15% to 20% in existing deployments. The combined system supports wired and wireless installation and can be commissioned in approximately 10 minutes.

The paired solution aligns with energy mandates including California’s Title 24 and New York City’s Local Law 97. By combining AIIR’s machine learning capabilities with Verdant’s energy management platform, the systems can perform predictive comfort optimisation and integrate with broader Building Management Systems (BMS).

“By integrating the VX4 thermostat directly into our systems, we’re delivering a solution that accelerates project timelines and gives developers a smarter path to energy efficiency,” said Trevor Schick, CEO of AIIR Holdings.

The interface is accessible via the AIIR User App, allowing residents to manage temperature, humidity, and airflow remotely. The partnership aims to lower the barrier for developers to adopt high-efficiency HVAC systems in new and retrofit construction.
