Wireless Logic has completed its acquisition of Simetry, a managed IoT connectivity business based in Houston, Texas, strengthening the company’s presence in North America.
Founded in 2020, Simetry grew into a trusted provider of managed IoT connectivity and infrastructure, delivering customised cellular connectivity, unified SIM and device management across multiple carriers, secure global network access, IoT hardware, provisioning services and round-the-clock US-based technical support. Its customers span industries that depend on secure, reliable connectivity for mission-critical operations.
“We look for great teams, strong customer relationships and businesses that genuinely add something to the group,” said Oliver Tucker, CEO of UK-based Wireless Logic (wirelesslogic.com). “Simetry ticks all those boxes. In just six years they’ve built an impressive business with deep carrier relationships, 24/7 US technical support and customers who rely on them for mission-critical connectivity.
Cash Blackburn, Simetry’s co-founder and CEO, will continue to lead the business.
“Having passionate founders stay and continue building is exactly what we like to see,” said Tucker. “This isn’t our first step into the USA. Between Zipit, Webbing and Blue Wireless, we’ve already built a strong presence, but the opportunity in the world’s largest IoT market is still huge. Simetry strengthens our capabilities, extends our reach and gives us another excellent platform for growth.”
The acquisition expands Wireless Logic’s North American footprint and strengthens its global IoT connectivity platform. By combining Simetry’s customer relationships, operational expertise and managed service capabilities with Wireless Logic’s international carrier ecosystem, the combined business is better placed to support customers operating across North America and around the world. It takes Wireless Logic’s total acquisitions to 21.
Simetry (simetry.com) was founded in 2020 as a division of Stallion Infrastructure Services, a provider of technology-enabled infrastructure across construction, energy, industrial, government and commercial markets. Under Stallion’s ownership, Simetry built a reputation for tailored connectivity, backed by deep technical expertise and responsive customer support, and the ability to simplify complex IoT deployments while helping customers connect, monitor and manage devices at scale.
“Since founding Simetry in 2020, we have watched this team build something truly special: a managed IoT connectivity platform that earned the trust of customers in demanding operating environments and critical connectivity functions across the globe,” said Darron Anderson, CEO of Stallion Infrastructure Services (stallionis.com). “As Stallion deepens its focus on our tech-enabled site services and infrastructure, finding the right long-term home for Simetry was a strategic priority. Wireless Logic’s global scale, deep carrier relationships and commitment to the IoT connectivity space make them the right long-term partner for Simetry.”
