Telit Cinterion is demonstrating industrial AI and edge computing platforms at the COMPUTEX 2026 exhibition in Taipei. The demonstrations focus on how edge intelligence can be applied to manufacturing and industrial automation.
The company is showcasing its deviceWISE Visual Inspection platform, which uses embedded AI for real-time quality control. The system allows manufacturers to identify defects and validate assembly processes on the factory floor without relying on cloud-based processing.
Telit Cinterion is also displaying its FE910C04 module running the OpenWRT operating system. The module is built on 5G RedCap technology, providing a platform for developers to build low-power industrial IoT applications. It is designed to simplify the prototyping of Linux-based edge devices.
The deviceWISE platform is targeted at industries including automotive, electronics, and pharmaceuticals. By processing data on-premises, the system reduces latency and keeps proprietary manufacturing data within the factory network.
“Manufacturers are under growing pressure to apply AI directly where quality decisions are made,” said Martin Krona, president of services and solutions at Telit Cinterion. “We are demonstrating how real-time visual inspection at the edge helps teams improve outcomes without the complexity of cloud-based approaches.”
