Telit Cinterion appoints four senior advisors

Telit Cinterion has appointed four senior executives as advisors on critical infrastructure, defence and robotics.

The appointments bring additional expertise to the board as Telit Cinterion strengthens its position in these established markets and grows its presence in defence, robotics and edge AI.

Joining as senior advisors are Allen Proithis, Manfred Boudreaux-Dehmer, Roberto Ferri and Russell Best. Together, they bring experience in defence, government, cyber security, digital transformation, industrial automation, robotics, telecommunications, public-safety communications, global manufacturing and technology commercialisation.

“Telit Cinterion is a trusted provider of technology for critical national infrastructure and public safety,” said Paolo Dal Pino, CEO of Telit Cinterion. “As we expand our presence in defence and robotics, we are addressing markets with highly specialised requirements for security, resilience, regulatory compliance, technology integration and trusted supply chains. Allen, Manfred, Roberto and Russell bring complementary experience across the public and private sectors. Their insights will help our board evaluate opportunities, strengthen strategic relationships and align our capabilities with the evolving needs of these markets.”

The appointments, Telit Cinterion’s growing focus on defence and robotics, and its launch of US manufacturing (iotm2mcouncil.org/iot-library/news/iot-newsdesk/telit-cinterion-starts-manufacturing-in-pennsylvania/) are part of a broader strategy to develop secure, edge AI-enabled products backed by rigorous supply chain controls and transparency. The advisors will help the board assess opportunities and partnerships across the markets Telit Cinterion serves worldwide.

His background spans digital transformation, cyber security, organisational strategy and geopolitical risk, as well as global technology roles at Sierra Wireless, Hewlett-Packard and Compaq. His experience will support Telit Cinterion as security, resilience and trusted digital infrastructure become increasingly important.

Roberto Ferri is a business executive with more than 35 years of experience in corporate strategy, business development, market expansion, contract manufacturing, mergers and acquisitions, and executive leadership. His background includes senior roles at Jabil, along with experience in industrial automation and robotics.
