Telenor IoT has deployed more than 30 million connected units worldwide.

The IoT arm of Swedish mobile operator Telenor says this achievement reflects its continued commitment to innovation, customer success, expanded partnerships and global expansion.

Over the past year, Telenor IoT has accelerated its growth through initiatives, reinforcing its position as a partner for enterprises worldwide. It continues to strengthen its presence in key markets, including the USA and Asia, supported by local teams and enhanced network access in regions with roaming restrictions.

The company’s connectivity management platform offers unified global connectivity through a single SIM, contract and portal, simplifying IoT deployments at scale. Recent enhancements include analytics powered by AI, early adoption of the eSIM SGP.32 standard, and an automotive connectivity service called IoT Drive that addresses the growing needs of the software-defined car.

In the 2025 Customer Satisfaction Survey, Telenor IoT achieved a net promoter score (NPS) of 72. This high level of advocacy provides external validation that the company’s initiatives are correctly aligned with real-world customer requirements and are effectively supporting the digital transformation of its clients.

For the eighth consecutive year, Telenor was listed in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for managed IoT connectivity services worldwide. Telenor IoT also received Frost & Sullivan’s 2025 Global Technology Innovation Leadership Recognition for cellular IoT innovation and global connectivity. This highlights Telenor IoT’s ability to simplify complex IoT ecosystems and deliver secure, scalable offerings across industries.

“Surpassing 30 million connected units is a testament to the trust our customers place in us and the strength of our global IoT strategy,” said Mats Lundquist, head of Telenor IoT (iot.telenor.com). “We will continue to innovate and invest in technologies that help enterprises scale connections securely and efficiently. Our goal remains clear: to be the first choice for IoT.”
