Netmore has integrated its LoRaWan services with 1NCE’s cellular connectivity to offer a hybrid option supporting a wide range of IoT use cases, from smart cities and logistics to smart metering and utilities.
The combined offering delivers seamless, low-bandwidth connectivity and eliminates operational coverage blind spots, providing global reach and reliability. This means users can deploy IoT with a layer of redundancy across more than 170 countries and regions.
With growing demand for low-power long-range connectivity in more areas, the Netmore LoRaWan network server plugin provides 1NCE customers access to cellular and LoRaWan IoT coverage through one platform.
The launch of the Netmore plugin marks the beginning of a collaboration to expand the combined offering of the two massive IoT network specialists. 1NCE’s software and connectivity platform has become an industry standard, delivering hassle-free IoT in 170 countries and regions. Now, with nearly 90% of the market estimated to be served by NB-IoT and LoRaWan by 2028, 1NCE provides accessibility to preferred network technologies for companies deploying IoT applications.
Working together to support their respective customer bases with cellular and LoRaWan technology delivers a layer of redundancy to cover hard to reach spots with reliable connectivity and IoT services. Through a unified visibility, ingestion and routing software tool, it is now possible to manage both technologies seamlessly in one place. Use cases include smart cities, street lighting, logistics, smart metering and other utility applications.
“Cellular plus LoRaWan is an unbeatable package that delivers the best value in IoT,” said Ivo Rook, co-CEO of 1NCE. “1NCE and Netmore together in one operational layer make low-bandwidth IoT more dependable than ever, in more places than ever.”
Netmore (netmoregroup.com) CEO Ove Anebygd added: “This powerful offering with 1NCE marks a major step forward in making hybrid IoT connectivity simple and accessible. By combining our market-leading LoRaWan services with 1NCE’s cellular platform, customers can now eliminate coverage gaps, reduce complexity and deploy low-bandwidth solutions with unprecedented reliability across the world.”
Today, IoT providers are combining cellular and LoRaWan to deliver hybrid tracking. One example is Abeeway, a Netmore subsidiary, whose multi-mode tracker integrates cellular and LoRaWan for low-power, long-range use cases.
“The Netmore-1NCE partnership unlocks powerful new opportunities for hybrid tracking by combining LoRaWan’s ultra-low-power, long-range strengths with 1NCE’s global cellular coverage,” said Andreas Eriksson, executive director of Abeeway (www.abeeway.com). “This delivers reliable, uninterrupted connectivity in even the most challenging environments, allowing logistics, supply chain and asset monitoring customers to achieve greater visibility and efficiency at scale.”
