Virginia-based Kajeet is improving the buying experience for managed IoT connectivity by eliminating discovery-call friction, manual spreadsheets and weeks of back-and-forth proposals.

The Kajeet Advisor is a guided buying experience designed to help organisations and partners move from a plain-language connectivity challenge to a tailored recommendation in minutes. Recommendations can include connectivity, hardware, management through Kajeet Sentinel and deployment services.

Buying managed connectivity can require customers and partners to repeat the same context across discovery calls, product demonstrations, spreadsheets and proposal revisions. Advisor brings the early stages of that process into one guided experience. Users begin with the business outcome they need to achieve, answer a focused set of questions and receive an explainable recommendation with budgetary pricing context and a clear path to a Kajeet expert.

“Connectivity buying has not changed in more than a decade, even as customers have learned to build and launch solutions faster than ever,” said Landon Garner, president of Kajeet. “Kajeet Advisor puts our strategic, technical and commercial expertise in front of customers when they need it. It fundamentally modernises how IoT is bought, putting our deep technical expertise into an instant digital experience that lets customers go from problem to tailored proposal in minutes.”

Advisor uses a language model grounded in Kajeet product and design knowledge to interpret a user’s requirements and guide discovery. A separate deterministic engine then applies Kajeet business rules and its approved catalogue to generate recommendations and calculate budgetary totals. This approach combines a conversational user experience with consistent configuration and pricing logic.

“Kajeet Advisor represents a fundamental shift in how we put technology to work for our customers,” said Chris Francosky, chief innovation officer at Kajeet. “A customer can start with the outcome they want to achieve and work toward a tailored solution through a natural conversation. By bringing Kajeet’s expertise, design and pricing into one interactive experience, we’re creating a new way to explore, evaluate and buy IoT connectivity.”

Advisor is built around four core capabilities:

  • Problem-first discovery: Users start with a business challenge described in plain language rather than a product name, then answer a focused set of questions. No signup is required to begin.
  • Complete: The experience assembles connectivity, hardware, operational visibility through Kajeet Sentinel and deployment services around the stated business outcome.
  • Catalogue-grounded pricing: Advisor presents budgetary pricing based on Kajeet’s approved catalogue, clearly labels estimated items and can compare an existing connectivity bill with the recommendation.
  • Portable result: Users can review modelled coverage to help prioritise options, download a shareable recommendation and request a consultation or complete a final purchase without restarting discovery.

“What stands out is understanding why a solution fits our needs,” said Joseph Moore president of AEB Technologies (aebtech.com). “Kajeet Advisor brings that clarity into the buying process from the start.”

Advisor (advisor.kajeet.com) is available now. The buying experience lets customers choose their next step: take a tailored recommendation and start with a trial or pilot, purchase their connectivity directly, or connect with a Kajeet expert to refine requirements or address special needs, at any scale, from a single SIM to a full fleet deployment.

Kajeet (www.kajeet.com) provides managed IoT connectivity that lets organisations securely connect and manage devices across multiple networks. Through its Sentinel platform, it delivers connectivity intelligence, policy control and network visibility for education, healthcare, enterprise and public sector organisations.
