Ivani mapping links Zigbee, wifi, Thread and BLE

Missouri-based Ivani has introduced an interactive smart mapping tool that lets partners build and explore complete wireless-sensing deployments across Zigbee, wifi, Thread and Bluetooth LE, and watch them respond in real time.
The Sensify SmartMap, an interactive visualisation and simulation tool, lets partners build complete wireless-sensing deployments including devices, detection zones, people and applications and watch how Sensify responds.
This replaces Ivani’s original guided walkthrough with an open, hands-on canvas. Where the original presented one wireless protocol and one network topology at a time, the new tool lets partners place devices themselves, mix detection approaches freely, and explore sensing deployments across Zigbee, wifi, Thread and BLE side by side on the same floor plan.
“The new Sensify SmartMap gives our partners a much more powerful and intuitive way to visualise how Sensify can work within their own products and environments,” saidJustin McKinney, CEO of Ivani. “Rather than relying solely on technical descriptions, partners can experiment with different layouts, device placements, wireless protocols and sensing models that allow them to immediately see how those decisions may affect coverage and detection. And because Sensify is the only multi-protocol wireless-sensing technology, it’s the only tool that can show them everything at once.”
Nothing about Sensify’s underlying capabilities changed with this launch; the multi-protocol, chip-agnostic, OTA-deployable firmware behind the tool is the same technology already shipping in commercial products. What changed is the demonstration. The SmartMap shows what makes Sensify different: every major smart-home protocol sensing together, on infrastructure that is already installed.
Capabilities include virtually unlimited device placementsacross a broad selection of configurable device types such as lights, plugs, switches, thermostats, hubs, speakers and TVs. There are also virtually unlimited detection zones and sensing spokes. Multi-stream mesh detection areas and single-stream hub-and-spoke links combine freely on one map.
Multiple Sensify applicationsinclude intelligent lighting and security, with a live intruder-alert demonstration. Real-time detection-area visualisationshows occupancy as people move through the space, via an interactive person-placement tool.
Users can see how coverage and detection change based on device placement and configuration. There are optional custom floor-plan uploadsin addition to preconfigured floor plans.
The SmartMap is designed to support product development, technical evaluation, partner discussions and deployment planning. By making complex wireless-sensing scenarios easier to visualise, the tool helps Ivani’s partners understand how Sensify can be integrated into their products to create intelligent lighting, security, occupancy and automation experiences.
