Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) and SIMCom Wireless Solutions have successfully completed SGP.32 IPA.d integration on SIMCom’s wireless modules.

SGP.32 is becoming one of the most important topics in today’s eSIM evolution, especially with the growing momentum of eSIM and large-scale IoT deployments.

SIMCom and G+D have jointly achieved integration of SGP.32 IPA.d following earlier success with IPA.e.

The integration was completed on SIMCom’s A7672X series, based on the ASR1603 platform. A7672X supports LTE-FDD/LTE-TDD/GSM/GPRS/EDGE, delivering 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink. Its LCC+LGA form factor, compatible with SIM7000/SIM7070 (NB/Cat M) and SIM800A/SIM800F (2G), enables smooth migration from legacy modules to LTE Cat 1 with reduced redesign cost. With A7672X now has gotcertification: RoHS/REACH/CE(RED)/DT /RCM/FCC/Anatel/ /CyberSecurity

Mads W. Fischer, European Sales Director at SIMCom, said: “This successful IPA.d integration highlights the strong technical synergy between SIMCom and G+D. We are proud to contribute to the next phase of the SGP.32 ecosystem and look forward to deepening our cooperation.”

According to the companies, this marks the beginning of broader cooperation between SIMCom and G+D. Both parties will continue to expand SGP.32 support across more SIMComwireless modules like SIM7672X, delivering secure, scalable, and future-ready connectivity to global IoT customers.
