Ford is collaborating with automotive retail software provider CDK Global to integrate vehicle build data for Ford and Lincoln cars into CDK’s vehicle lookup API. This will help provide both dealers and maintenance with up to date and accurate information on Ford vehicles, and should simplify automotive retail.

Manufacturer build data includes VIN-specific data — such as vehicle descriptions, additional features and MSRP value — to support both vehicle valuation and marketing. Integrating this data with the CDK Neuron Advanced Vehicle Lookup API is designed to help improve trust and transparency for consumers, including loan submissions, online vehicle listings, and insurance appraisals.
