Taiwanese firm Adlink Technology is highlighting intelligent railway systems on it stand at this week’s InnoTrans show in Berlin.
The company’s showcase is structured around railway AI, edge computing, connected onboard passenger systems, smart stations and platform displays.
To accelerate autonomous operations, obstacle detection and predictive maintenance, the Ava-7200 rugged AI inference platform uses the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and Nvidia RTX Pro embedded MXM GPU to deliver real-time vision processing in harsh railway environments while adhering to EN 50155 standards.
Highlighting a collaboration in CompactPCI Serial architecture, Adlink will feature its joint initiative with Elma Electronic (www.elma.com) to integrates Elma’s rugged chassis and backplane technology with Adlink’s CompactPCI Serial CPU, GPU and IO modules, providing rail operators with a scalable and reliable computing architecture.
Bridging the gap between moving vehicles and central management, Adlink is presenting a unified onboard passenger information system architecture with its panel powered by AUO Display Plus. Integrated with onboard content servers and 5G train-to-ground gateways, it demonstrates low-latency telemetry, automated passenger updates and seamless failover connectivity.
Modern transit hubs demand high-visibility, energy-efficient signage. Adlink is highlighting its 125cm stretched overhead sign display designed for high-density platform timetables and trackside advisories. Additionally, it is featuring its outdoor 34 and 102cm e-paper displays in high-contrast black-and-white and colour versions, powered by its self-designed boards and rugged housings for outdoor use. These are also solar-compatible, with low power consumption.
“As the global rail industry transitions towards higher automation and enhanced passenger expectations, computing at the edge becomes the ultimate enabler,” said Ryan Chiu, vice president at Adlink (www.adlinktech.com). “At InnoTrans, we are demonstrating how our EN 50155-compliant Nvidia-embedded computing platforms, resilient 5G gateways, and highly reliable onboard and platform displays work together to form a dependable digital backbone for smart railway networks worldwide.”
InnoTrans (www.innotrans.de) runs from 22 to 25 September at Messe Berlin in Germany. Adlink is on stand 672 in Hall 4.1. For more information, see www.adlinktech.com/en/innotrans-2026.
