Chinese heavy industry firm Zoomlion has launched “Robot Ops”, a platform designed for development and management of embodied intelligence in industrial applications, including humanoid robots and autonomous construction machinery.
Robot Ops is an engineering platform that integrates DevOps, DataOps, and AgentOps. It features four primary modules: basic tools, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and task orchestration. The system manages the full lifecycle of robotic deployment, from initial data collection and model training to simulation and maintenance.
The company stated that the platform improves the efficiency of closed-loop iterations by more than 50%. It is intended to lower technical barriers for manufacturers by providing a standardised path for deploying AI agents across different types of hardware, such as logistics robots and heavy machinery.
Zoomlion has carried out a demonstration of the system, coordinating a wheeled humanoid robot and a mobile logistics robot in a sorting scenario. The company has also showcased its Z1 humanoid robot performing dynamic motion-control routines.
A company spokesperson said the platform “directly addresses four key industry challenges: high technical barriers, scenario migration difficulty, data bottlenecks, and lack of lifecycle management.” The system is part of Zoomlion’s broader transition toward “Industry 5.0” manufacturing solutions.
