Washington State-based farming AI specialist TerraClear has integrated its mobile app with the John Deere Operations Centre, allowing farmers to directly import existing field boundaries into the app. This integration streamlines the onboarding process by eliminating the need for exports, shape-files, and manual steps.

The integration uses secure authentication and one-click syncing to bring boundary data, including names, IDs, and exclusion zones, into the TerraClear mobile app. The app also automatically detects and resolves duplicates, ensuring accurate maps.

“We are removing complexity and unlocking value from data farmers already trust,” said Don Scribner, Product Manager at TerraClear. “Field boundaries are the backbone of their operation. We’re making that backbone stronger and easier to use right out of the gate.”

The integration is now available for all TerraClear mobile app users as a standard feature.

TerraClear uses AI and robotics to solve labour-intensive farming problems, including rock management, which affects nearly half of North American farms.
