Electric vehicle manufacturer Lucid has partnered Rockwell Automation to support its expanding manufacturing facility in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia. The facility is the country’s first vehicle manufacturing site.

Lucid will deploy Rockwell Automation’s FactoryTalk manufacturing execution system (MES) software to manage and optimise production operations across various shops at the plant. The MES platform will provide real-time visibility, traceability, and control over operations, helping Lucid meet its production goals and ensure compliance with local standards.

Rockwell Automation will also deliver training programmes for local Saudi workers on EV manufacturing expertise through instructor-led and virtual training sessions.

The partnership aims to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives by helping build a skilled workforce and driving sustainable industrial growth.
