California-based Parsec Automation updated its TrakSYS manufacturing execution system (MES) platform. TrakSYS 14 introduces cloud-connected management through TrakSYS Cloud, which provides centralised visibility into licenses, system health, and backups.

The platform also features IQ Assistant, an AI-powered capability that allows users to interact with manufacturing data using natural language.

TrakSYS 14 includes Solution Studio, a tool for developing, versioning, and promoting standardised MES solutions across environments while preserving site-specific configuration.

The update aims to address challenges manufacturers face as MES environments expand across sites, systems, and teams. Parsec claims that TrakSYS 14 is designed to support modern IT/OT strategies while preserving flexibility required on the factory floor.

TrakSYS 14 is available immediately for new customers, with existing customers able to upgrade in accordance with Parsec’s standard release and support policies.
