Oncotelic AI pharma manufacturing platform

Oncotelic Therapeutics has launched an AI-powered manufacturing platform designed to support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. The platform was introduced at the 2026 BIO International Convention in San Diego.
The system integrates Oncotelic’s PDAOAI software with robotic hardware provided by TechForce Robotics. It is designed to automate routine GMP operations, including the execution of digital batch records, material handling, and quality management activities. The platform aims to assist companies in modernising manufacturing workflows and accelerating technology transfers.
Technical capabilities of the platform include electronic batch record management, GMP workflow digitisation, and real-time manufacturing process monitoring. It also provides support for quality compliance and knowledge management. The company stated the technology is specifically targeted at cell and gene therapy developers, radiopharmaceutical manufacturers, and contract development organisations.
The collaboration with TechForce Robotics follows initial deployments earlier this year. The platform is intended to function within sterile injectable cGMP facilities, using AI to underpin drug discovery and lab automation alongside physical manufacturing tasks.
“The future of pharmaceutical manufacturing will be shaped by the convergence of artificial intelligence, digital quality systems, and intelligent automation,” said Dr Vuong Trieu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Oncotelic. He noted the objective is to provide manufacturers with tools to improve productivity and strengthen compliance.
