Moso Networks has announced new features for its private 5G infrastructure. The company is transitioning its technology from pilot programmes to full-scale production deployments in industrial sectors.
Moso Networks has also announced partnerships with Canoga Perkins and Khasm Labs to integrate its radios into broader industrial control and time-sensitive networking (TSN) solutions.
The company’s latest offerings include 3GPP Release 16 small cells and the Chorus access point solution, developed in partnership with Ataya. These systems are designed to simplify the deployment of private networks by removing traditional cellular complexity for enterprise users.
Technical features of the Moso 5G platform include:
- 5G LAN support for traffic segmentation and VLAN integration
- Network slicing for application-aware traffic isolation and resource prioritisation
- Dual-carrier support for simultaneous n77 licensed and CBRS spectrum operation
- Integrated spectrum analyser for interference detection and site validation
- CBRS SAS grant backup and fast failover for operational continuity
Stephen Leotis, CEO of Moso Networks, said the company’s focus is on providing performance and control without the complexity typically associated with 5G infrastructure. The company has highlighted active deployments at Tucson International Airport and the Port of Tacoma as evidence of the technology’s reliability in industrial environments.
