IntelliAM AI has launched an industrial intelligence platform developed in partnership with engineering group SKF to monitor and improve the reliability of manufacturing equipment.

The platform, which processes more than 16 billion industrial data points annually, is designed to address labour shortages by automating technical decision-making on the factory floor. During 12-month trials at a European dairy facility operated by Müller, the system reportedly delivered a 215% improvement in the mean-time-between-failures for production machinery.

The system consists of three components: IntelliAM 53 for asset intelligence, Decipher for operational understanding, and Enigma for triggering operational actions. Unlike standard monitoring tools, the platform is designed to recommend or initiate direct maintenance and operational changes based on real-time factory data.

“Manufacturers do not have a data problem; they have a decision problem,” said Tom Clayton, CEO of IntelliAM AI. He stated that the technology is intended to act as a “force multiplier” for engineering staff by interpreting complex operational data to guide on-site teams.

The company, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, currently works with six of the world’s 12 largest food and beverage manufacturers. It estimates that a 5% productivity increase in the UK food and drink sector alone could be worth £1.865 billion annually.
