Taiwanese industrial computing firm IEI Integration has launched new industrial computing platforms for edge artificial intelligence (AI) and infrastructure designed to comply with the European Union’s NIS2 Directive and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
It will showcase these new platforms at the Embedded World 2026 exhibition in Nuremberg.
The company’s new hardware is designed for 24/7 workloads in harsh environments, featuring high availability and redundancy for smart factories and buildings. The platforms utilise a “secure-by-design” architecture to manage cybersecurity risks as operational and information technologies converge.
Specifications for the new line-up include:
- Support for Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors and NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin platforms
- iVEC CANAI virtualised AI acceleration framework
- iRM remote management with out-of-band operating system recovery
- IP69K-rated stainless steel systems for food processing environments
- DNV-validated platforms for maritime applications
YT Lee, vice president of IEI Integration, said the solutions are intended to help industrial operators deploy AI workloads while navigating evolving cybersecurity regulations. The company also maintains a Security Advisory Portal to provide life-cycle protection for its mission-critical systems.
IEI Integration provides industrial computing solutions for manufacturing, transportation, and energy sectors.
