Massachusetts based lab automation specialist HighRes has released a platform that employs AI to orchestrate laboratory operations, allowing scientists to create workflows through natural-language descriptions rather than configuration.
The new Lab Orchestration platform also features robotic perception and digitally simulated laboratory builds.
According to Ira Hoffman, CEO of HighRes, “science today is limited by access, not imagination.” The new technology aims to increase the accessibility of automation and orchestration solutions for laboratories.
HighRes has been working on this technology for several years, leveraging advances in AI, simulation, and software orchestration. The company claims that its platform can understand laboratory environments, adapt in real-time, and guide users through complex scientific workflows.
HighRes has been providing automation systems to laboratories for over two decades and claims that its new technology is a significant step forward in making automation accessible to more scientists.
