Emerson has launched an enterprise scale AI platform for manufacturing and industrial operations. The AspenTech AVA AI platform provides domain-aware AI capabilities to support operational decision-making and improve reliability in manufacturing environments.

The system is built on the AspenTech Inmation Data Platform, which contextualises operational technology data from cloud, edge, and on-premise sources. AVA uses large language models alongside Emerson’s industrial expertise to provide AI-assisted recommendations embedded directly into factory workflows.

The platform is currently available with four operational optimisation advisors. These tools are designed to help companies respond to changing operating conditions without disrupting existing processes. The system also provides expert-informed guidance for digital-native professionals entering the industrial workforce.

Emerson has launched a web-based interactive system, AspenTech.ai, to allow industry professionals to engage with the platform’s decision-support applications. The platform is designed to be data-source agnostic and integrates with existing automation infrastructure.
