DuPont has announced a collaboration with Uncountable to implement an AI-driven platform across its research and development laboratories. The initiative aims to scale digital lab workflows and standardise experimental data to accelerate the development of new chemical formulations and materials.
The partnership focuses on creating a unified data layer that allows DuPont’s R&D teams to use advanced analytics and machine learning more effectively. By structuring data from the design and testing phases, the company intends to improve the speed at which new solutions are brought to market in the healthcare, water, and construction sectors.
Uncountable’s platform will be used to capture and analyse experiments consistently across the enterprise. DuPont stated that this digital execution is necessary to maintain competitive differentiation and improve the long-term performance of its innovation portfolio.
“High-quality, structured data is critical to achieving innovation excellence at scale—enabling advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to accelerate delivery of solutions to our customers,” said Marty DeGroot, chief technology officer at DuPont.
The collaboration is part of DuPont’s broader “AI-ready labs” strategy. Uncountable currently provides similar AI platforms to more than 150 customers in the advanced materials, pharmaceuticals, and food industries.
