Aurora acquires IIoT firm Anova

Aurora Capital Partners has acquired IIoT provider Anova. The company provides IIoT solutions to the industrial gas, propane, fuels, lubricants, and chemicals industries.

Anova’s solutions include proprietary hardware, managed connectivity services, and cloud-based software with modules for forecasting, scheduling, routing, data analytics, and business intelligence. The company monitors more than 1.8 million assets for over 2,000 customers in more than 80 countries.

Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Baird served as financial advisor to Anova, while Houlihan Lokey advised Aurora Capital Partners. Golub Capital arranged debt financing for the transaction.

Aurora has acquired several middle-market companies and is expected to support Anova’s global growth. The private equity firm has $6 billion in assets under management.

The acquisition is expected to accelerate Anova’s growth and expansion into new markets and technologies.
